St Paul’s is a systemic Catholic school in the Diocese of Wollongong, administered by the Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong, under the jurisdiction of the Bishop of Wollongong, Bishop Brian Mascord.
St Paul’s is a school that prides itself on being Catholic and highly values the close link that we have with the parish community. As a Catholic school we work to bring to life our vision of enlivening our community with the Gospel values as given to us by Jesus Christ through his teachings.
The school’s patron saint, St Paul, enables the school to identify with his teachings, as he taught the Gospel of Christ to the first century world. St Paul is the patron saint of missionaries, evangelists, writers, journalists and authors. He was a teacher of people and through his teaching helped to establish the Christian Church. The school seeks to do the same as it provides opportunities for all stakeholders to be truly present in faith and life. The students are constantly reminded that Christ is with them as they learn in a community embedded in ritual, prayer, sacred music, signs, symbols and our Catholic tradition. This creates a distinctly Catholic pedagogy, the way of St Paul, revealing the school’s true purpose and ministry as Catholic educators. Read more About Us.
St Paul’s works towards providing a quality curriculum where the individual child has the opportunity to excel while also being challenged in their learning. At St Paul’s, students are able to participate in many spiritual, academic and sporting experiences that we believe develop them spiritually, physically, socially and emotionally. We embrace the challenges that face education and parents today. We appreciate the strong connection that we have with parents and the extended families of our students. We warmly welcome past students and families to our celebrations acknowledging the strong community connection that St Paul’s has within Camden.
At St Paul’s, we encourage all through action, to live our school motto of 'Truth Love Faith'. This is reflected in our school rules: 'Be safe, respectful and responsible' in all aspects of school life.
This is our story and we are recreating our story every day as we serve the community of Camden. I look forward to meeting and working with you throughout the school year.
